Easy Chicken Breast

Ingredients

  • 5 chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth or water

Instructions

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Feel free to add seasoning to your liking.
  • Pour chicken broth (or water) into the inner pot.
  • Place the chicken breasts on silicone trivet.

Option 1 - Fresh Chicken

  • Press Pressure Cook/Manual function and set the timer for 8 minutes. Once the cooking time is up, set the valve to “venting” for a Quick Release.
  • If you prefer a crispier finish, you can sauté it for 1 minute on each side.

Option 2 - Shredded Chicken

  • Press Pressure on the Cook/Manual function and set the timer for 10 minutes. Once the time is up, set the valve to “venting” for a Quick Release. Drain the remaining liquid and shred the chicken breasts with a fork.

Option 3 - Frozen Chicken Breast

  • Press the Pressure Cook/Manual function and set it for 12 minutes. Once the cooking time is up, set the valve to “venting” for a Quick Release. If you prefer a crispier finish, you can sauté it for 1 minute on each side.
